Client feedback
Yee Keong Lim
Director, Petaling Jaya
"We engaged them for a Mineral Survey before our board committed to any AI spend. The report was thorough and, more importantly, honest about where the technology was unlikely to help us. That kind of candour is rare and was exactly what we needed."

"The Single-vein Build for our enquiry classification took about two months and was delivered exactly as scoped. Staff picked it up quickly and the documentation they handed over made onboarding of new team members much simpler. We didn't need to call them back to explain anything."

Managing Partner, Klang Valley
"The quarterly review has been running for two cycles now. I appreciate that it doesn't try to be more than it is — one written assessment and a short call each quarter. The first cycle flagged a drift issue we hadn't noticed, which was worth catching early. Good value for a light-touch check."

Azlin Suhaimi
CFO, Selangor-based group
"Our board had heard a lot about AI but had no basis to evaluate vendor proposals. The survey gave us a structured way to think about the question and a written document we could share with directors. It made the subsequent board conversation much more productive."

Wong Chee Meng
IT Manager, Kuala Lumpur
"The build was clean and their documentation was genuinely useful — not a token README, but something my team could actually follow. The handover session covered everything we needed. I'd have liked a slightly longer testing window before handover, but overall we were well-served."
Single-vein Build · February 2025
Rohani Ibrahim
Executive Director, Putrajaya
"What I found most useful about the survey was how they framed the findings — not as a list of AI features we should buy, but as a description of our own operations and where friction exists. That framing made the recommendations much easier to evaluate and present to leadership."

Reducing time spent on document retrieval in a mid-sized law firm
Challenge
Associates at the firm were spending two to three hours per week searching through archived correspondence and precedent documents. The archive had grown to over 40,000 documents with inconsistent naming conventions, making search unreliable.
Solution
A Single-vein Build integrating a document retrieval assistant into their existing document management system. The assistant allowed staff to search by question rather than keyword — "which letters discuss limitation clauses in the 2019 construction contracts" — and returned ranked results with excerpts.
Outcome
Associates reported a reduction in document search time of roughly 65% in the month following handover. The system handled approximately 90 queries in its first month without requiring any intervention. Documentation was used to onboard two new staff members after the engagement closed.
"The build ran cleanly and the handover was complete. We've had no need to call them back." — Senior Associate

Providing a board-level basis for AI decision-making
Challenge
The group had received proposals from three vendors over a six-month period. The board was uncertain how to evaluate them — the claims were large and the technical details difficult to assess. A decision had been postponed twice.
Solution
A Mineral Survey covering three operating subsidiaries. The survey involved structured interviews with six senior managers and a review of existing technology infrastructure. The report assessed each vendor claim against the group's actual operational context and identified two areas where AI could plausibly reduce costs, and two where the vendor claims were not well-founded.
Outcome
The board used the report to decline two vendor proposals and negotiate a narrower, scoped pilot with the third. The report was described by the chairman as "the first document in this process we felt confident presenting to our audit committee." Follow-up call at month 2 clarified three questions raised during the board session.
"It gave us something to point to. That matters when you're accountable to a board." — Group CFO
